Itinerary for The Special 8-Day Uganda Safari Tour: Wildlife Tour and Cultural Encounters

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kibale National Park

The guided walk will allow you to explore the wetlands and enjoy the serene environment. You will return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Evening Game Drive

After breakfast, you will set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda's most popular safari destinations. The drive will take you through beautiful landscapes, including the Rwenzori Mountains and the rolling hills of western Uganda. Upon arrival at the park, you will check into your lodge and have lunch.

In the late afternoon, you will Begin an evening game drive in the park. This drive will enable you to spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, and numerous antelope species. The park's diverse ecosystems offer excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start your day with an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park. This drive will take you to different parts of the park, where you can observe the rich wildlife in their natural habitat. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for breakfast and some relaxation.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This boat trip will enable you to see a variety of animals, including hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species. The channel is also a popular spot for elephants and buffaloes to gather, providing excellent photo opportunities. After the cruise, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, you will depart Queen Elizabeth National Park and head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The drive will take you through the scenic landscapes of southwestern Uganda, including the famous Ishasha sector, known for its tree-climbing lions. You will have a chance to spot these unique lions before continuing to Bwindi

Upon arrival in Bwindi, you will check into your lodge and have lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing and preparing for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and Community Visit

Your day begins with an early breakfast before heading out for gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This activity will enable you to encounter the majestic mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Accompanied by experienced guides, you will trek through the dense forest, observing these gentle giants and learning about their behavior and conservation.

After the trek, you will return to your lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, you will visit a local community near Bwindi. This visit will provide an opportunity to learn about the culture and traditions of the Batwa pygmies and other local communities. You will experience traditional music and dance, visit craft markets, and gain insights into the local way of life. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and Game Drive

After breakfast, you will leave Bwindi and head to Lake Mburo National Park. The drive will take you through the scenic countryside of southwestern Uganda, offering beautiful views of the rolling hills and rural landscapes. Upon arrival at Lake Mburo, you will check into your lodge and have lunch.

In the late afternoon, you will Begin a game drive in the park. Lake Mburo is known for its diverse wildlife, including zebras, impalas, elands, and various bird species. The park's scenic landscapes, including savannah, acacia woodland, and wetlands, provide excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing. You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Walking Safari and Return to Kampala

On your final day, start with an early morning walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park. This walk will enable you to experience the park's wildlife and scenery up close, guided by a park ranger. You will see a variety of animals and birds, and learn about the park's ecosystems.

After the walking safari, return to your lodge for breakfast. You will then begin your journey back to Kampala, passing through the picturesque landscapes of Uganda.
