Itinerary for Tarangire wildlife expedition
Day 1: Arrive in Moshi, Tanzania and transfer to Tarangire National Park.
You will arrive in Arusha, the gateway to northern Tanzania, in the morning. After clearing immigration and customs, you will be met by your guide and transferred to Tarangire National Park. The drive from Arusha to Tarangire takes about 3 hours.
Day 2: Go on a game drive in the park.
Game drives are the best way to see the animals in Tarangire National Park. You will drive through the park in an open-top safari vehicle, with your guide keeping an eye out for animals. You are likely to see elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. You may also see some of the park's smaller animals, such as monkeys, dik-diks, and warthogs.
Day 3: Take a bush walk in the park.
Bush walks are a great way to get up close to the animals in Tarangire National Park. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger, who will help you to spot animals and keep you safe. You are likely to see elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest. You may also see some of the park's smaller animals, such as monkeys, dik-diks, and warthogs.
Day 4: Go on a hot air balloon ride over the park.
Hot air balloon rides are a truly unforgettable way to see Tarangire National Park. You will rise into the sky and get a bird's-eye view of the park's stunning scenery. You will also see the animals from a different perspective, and you may even be able to see them interacting with each other.
Day 5: Depart from Tarangire National Park and transfer back to Arusha.
After your final game drive in the morning, you will transfer back to Arusha. You will have some time to relax at your hotel before your departure.
