Itinerary for Special 6-days Full Eastern Cape Experience at Port Elizabeth and Eastern Cape
Day 1: Arrival and Coastal Exploration
Upon arrival on Day 1 in Port Elizabeth, check into your accommodation. Spend the afternoon relaxing at Hobie Beach or Kings Beach; you can sunbathe, swim, or take an easy walk along the beachfront. Later on, head out to the Boardwalk Promenade for a look at the atmosphere along the coast. Dinner should be at any of the local restaurants, including The Coachman or Blue Waters Café, both of which serve up fresh seafood along with beautiful ocean views to relax after your trip and kick off the Eastern Cape.
Day 2: Addo Elephant National Park Safari
Take a drive over to Addo Elephant National Park, just 45 minutes from Port Elizabeth. Go on either a self-drive or guided safari through the flagship park to witness its plethora of wildlife: over 600 elephants, lions, zebras, and much more. In the afternoon, explore the varied landscapes, visit one of the many picnic sites, or return to the main camp for further relaxation. End. Day 3: Tsitsikamma National Park Adventure
Take a drive to Tsitsikamma National Park, which lies about 1.5–2 hours from Port Elizabeth. Today will be a day of cultural and historical interest in Port Elizabeth.
