Itinerary for Ngorongoro Day Trip Private Safari
The Ngorongoro tour package Itinerary
Start EarlyTo make the most of your day at Ngorongoro, it's best to start early. We recommend leaving your hotel by 6:00 AM so that you can arrive at the entrance gate by 7:00 AM. This will give you plenty of time to explore the crater and see all the highlights before the park closes.
Game Drive:The best way to explore the crater is by taking a game drive. You can hire a guide at the entrance gate, or if you're on a private tour, your guide will be with you. A game drive will take you through the different habitats in the crater, allowing you to see a wide variety of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, lions, cheetahs, hippos, and more.
Picnic Lunch:After a morning of game driving, it's time for a picnic lunch. There are several picnic sites in the crater where you can stop and enjoy your meal. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks to keep you fueled for the rest of the day.
Enter the CraterOnce you've arrived at the entrance gate, it's time to enter the crater. The first thing you'll notice is the stunning views of the crater itself. Take a moment to appreciate the breathtaking scenery before you start exploring.
Visit a Maasai Village:In the afternoon, you can visit a Maasai village on the outskirts of the crater. This will allow you to learn about the Maasai culture and their way of life. You'll also have the chance to shop for souvenirs and support the local community.
Departure:As the day draws to a close, it's time to depart the crater. You'll need to leave by 6:00 PM when the park closes. If you're staying in Arusha or Moshi, you'll arrive back at your hotel by around 8:00 PM
