Day 1: Cape Town – Mossel Bay
Begin your Garden Route tour from Cape Town, driving via Mossel Bay, a distance that will take about 4 hours. Stop at places of outstanding beauty along the route, such as Gansbaai or Boulders Beach, to view the famous penguins.
Day 2: Mossel Bay – Oudtshoorn
After breakfast, take the 40-minute drive into Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital. Take a tour of an ostrich farm and even get to feed these fascinating birds. In the afternoon, make your way to the amazing Cango Caves-remarkable limestone cave structure with stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Take an optional visit to the Cango Wildlife Ranch, which specializes in exotic animals such as cheetahs and crocodiles. Day 3: Oudtshoorn – Wilderness – Knysna
Drive to Wilderness in the morning. Approximately 1 hour, from where you can visit the Wilderness National Park. Enjoy canoeing on the Touws River or take a hike to the Map of Africa Viewpoint with breathtaking panoramic views. Then drive to Knysna (±40 minutes), this picturesque town is famous for its lagoon. Pay a visit to the Knysna Waterfront and take a boat trip to the well-known Knysna Heads. Finish the day with a meal in the evening on the Knysna waterfront.
Day 4: Knysna – Plettenberg Bay

Go on a short hike in the beautiful forests of the park, or go on an adrenalin-charged Canopy Tour through the tree tops. For real adrenaline junkies, stop at Bloukrans Bridge, home of the world-famous bungee jump. Overnight in a comfortable lodge or guesthouse in Tsitsikamma.
Day 6: Tsitsikamma National Park – Knysna – George
After having breakfast, head back towards Knysna in the morning. It takes approximately 1.5 hours to drive. Spend some time exploring the Knysna Forest: go for a scenic walk or bike ride along the trails. Then, head toward George (about 30 minutes) and visit either the George Museum or the Outeniqua Transport Museum for a glimpse of the area's history. You may also spend time on Victoria Bay or Herolds Bay for a laid-back beach experience. Conclude the day with a farewell dinner in George and prepare for your departure.
Day 7: George – Cape Town
