During the 8-day Serengeti camping safari we will cover the most famous wildlife destinations in Tanzania the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Carter and Lake Manyara National Park. this detailed itinerary will cover the most eye-catching areas of Serengeti Park, Ngorongoro Carter, and Lake Manyara National Park.
Day 1: Arusha to Ngorongoro national park
You will depart for Ngorongoro crater and upon arrival you will and the necessary registration performed you will descend to the crater floor and proceed with a game drive lunch will be taken near the hippo poolside and after lunch, our quest continue to search for rhinos, lions, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, impalas, hyenas, topis, hartebeests many others. After a long day, you will ascend for your overnight and dinner in a nearby camp.
Day 2: Full day at Ngorongoro crater
This day you will wake up and have an early breakfast before descending into the crater for a game drive lunch will be taken at the hippos poolside. Ngorongoro crater being a ring of extinct volcanoes encloses 30,000 animals of different species including the big five animals.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park
We will depart from Ngorongoro to the Serengeti National Park and after all formalities are finished we will begin our game drive through the vast plains of the Serengeti National Park lunch will be taken during the game drive itself and you will gate a chance to witness the Great wildebeest migration happening by your naked eyes. Overnight will be at Seronera campsite
Day 4-5: North Serengeti Mara river crossing
We will begin very early in the morning after an early breakfast and we will pack our lunch and commence a game drive to north Serengeti where there is Mara River, watch thousands of wildebeest, zebra, impalas, and other herbivores bravely attempting Mara river crossing the river which is infested with crocodiles. After an Eyeful of adventure, we will have an overnight and dinner at the campsite.
Day 6: North Serengeti to Seronera area
We will begin an early game drive before heading back to the campsite and have breakfast at the camp before beginning the game drive to the central Serengeti or Seronera area we will overnight at Seronear campsite.
Day 7: Seronera to Lake Manyara
This will be a very rampant day as we begin early in the morning and head out of Serengeti National Park to Lake Manyara National Park this will be a very quick drive which will take 5 hours exactly to cover 225.9 km that lies between this two points. After arrival and necessary formalities we will continue with a game drive and lunch will be during the game drive itself before dinner and overnight at designated camps just outside the park.
Day 8: Lake Manyara to Arusha
After an early breakfast we will drive through the park in search of tree climbing lion you can locate them on trees and be quick to take pictures for the wonderful memory we will have lunch during the game drive, and after lunch, we will depart to Arusha and this marks the end of 8 days Serengeti camping safari. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha.
