Day 1: Arusha National Park
Arusha National Park is the closest national park to Arusha town It takes a very short distance to reach the park from Arusha town. Then the day will start with your Morning breakfast from your lodging place and take a drive to Arusha National Park.
In the park you will do a walking tour with an escort of the park rangers. The best attractions on your visit to Arusha National Park are the view of Mount Meru, the rainforest, the Ngurudoto crater, and the wild animals including the blue monkeys, the black and white colobus, buffalos, warthogs, giraffes, zebras, hyena, cheetah and the like and the Momela Lake with thousands of flamingos, waterfowls, waterbucks.
You will have your lunch in the park and then take your drive back to Arusha town for your evening and overnight stay with dinner preparing for the next day's tour to Tarangire National Park.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
The day starts with your morning breakfast from Arusha hotel then your safari driver will pick you up from your hotel with your packed lunch boxes and have the last minutes shopping in Arusha town and start your drive to Tarangire National Park.
In the Tarangire National Park you will be doing and game viewing safari in an open roof safari and you will see a big herd of giant elephants and big baobab trees, however, you spot other animals like giraffes, lions, warthogs, antelopes and birds.
Moreover, as it is a full-day game drive you will have a picnic lunch in the park and finalize with your afternoon game drive and then exit the park heading to Mto wa mtu to your overnight accommodation for your dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Lake Natron Tour
The day will be of a drive from Mto wa mbu to the mineral-rich soda lake of Lake Natron which is at the border with Kenya below the volcanic Oldonyo Lengai Mountain. The destination is the breeding ground for thousands of lesser flamingos with its red water Lake.
You will do a walking tour along this flamingo paradise lake and have your hot lunch at a local restaurant. After your tour, you will then drive back to Mto wa mbu where you will arrive late in the evening for your dinner and overnight stay at your accommodation for your next day venture to the Serengeti.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
On this day of your safari, the day will begin early in the morning with your breakfast from your hotel in Mto wa Mbu and start the morning drive to the Serengeti National Park. A drive will pass you through the Ngorongoro conservation area, on its rim where you will spot some animals and the Masai as they live in Ngorongoro too.
You will then drive up to the Naabi hill gate where you can take your lunch and take a walk up to the hill where you can see the true meaning of the Serengeti being an endless plain. After your lunch, you will do an afternoon to evening game drive heading to your lodging place according to your itinerary.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park & Ngorongoro Crater
The day will be of a game drive in the Serengeti National Park and then drive to the Ngorongoro. Your day will then start with a morning game drive and then your breakfast and continue with the game up heading to Naabi Hill for your picnic lunch before your drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
During your drive you will have to see the flying balloons early in the morning and a good number of wild animals such as Lions, Elephants, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebra, Leopard, Cheetah, warthogs, Hyena with several bird species both migratory and non-migratory species. In Ngorongoro you will overnight at the accommodation outside the crater.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater
This is your last safari day where you will do the crater ascending and descending with a fabulous game viewing in the crater with your picnic lunch in it. The day will start with your breakfast from the accommodation and take a drive up to the crater start descending the crater of 600M to its floor.
In the crater there is no hustle to see the animals as most of the animals remain within the crater where you can find the big five with no struggle. The caldera is also home to zebra, hyenas, wildebeest, hippos, and water birds. Your picnic lunch will be in the crater, and then you will take a drive after your ascent to Mto wa Mbu for a tour dinner and overnight stay.
Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park
The day will be of visiting the Lake Manyara National Park where you will be nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment that gives a picturesque of varying scenery. You will play the game in Lake Manyara and have your picnic lunch in the park.
The habitat of Lake Manyara National Park supports life for a variety of animals and birdlife. During the game drive you can see the tree-climbing lion and other wild animals.
Moreover, you will have a walk along Lake Manyara and see the paradise of beautiful flamingoes along the lake and other birds, then find a picnic for your lunch and after lunch, you will do your afternoon game drive and exit the park heading to Lake Eyasi for your cultural tour.
Day 8: Lake Eyasi cultural tour
Lake Eyasi is the homeland for the hunters (The Hadzabe or Tanzania Bushmen) and the Datoga and Mbulu who are livestock keepers. The famous and popular cultural tour is for the Hadzabe, who live in the jungle where you can enjoy their unique jungle survival skills, hunting, and handmade local tools that they use in their daily life routine.
Hence the day will be a walking tour of this cultural village and you can enjoy hunting, sport fishing, and the local and traditional life of the people there.
You will have a hot lunch in one of the restaurants or the local lunch as per your interest and concern. After this fabulous cultural tour, you will then start your drive to Arusha town where you will be arriving late in the evening.
