Day 1: Arrive at Serengeti national park
Arrive at Serengeti National Park via a Ngorongoro conservation area from Arusha or another gateway city. Meet your guide and transfer to your chosen lodge in the Serengeti. After settling in and enjoying a delicious lunch, begin an afternoon game drive in the central Seronera region. Explore the Seronera Valley, known for its rich wildlife populations, including lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2-3: Full-Day Game Drives and Migration (if applicable)
After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. Your guide will choose the route based on wildlife movements and recent sightings, maximizing your chances of encountering predators and other fascinating wildlife. If the timing aligns, you may have the opportunity to witness the Great Migration, where vast herds of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains in search of fresh grazing. Enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic spot within the park. Continue exploring different areas of the Serengeti, observing wildlife, and capturing memorable photographs. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Serengeti morning game drive - Ngorongoro crater
Start the day with an early morning game drive, taking advantage of the optimal wildlife activity during the cooler hours of the day. Watch as the Serengeti awakens, listening to the sounds of nature and searching for elusive predators on the prowl. Return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast. After breakfast, check out of the lodge and continue on a final game drive en route to the Ngorongoro conservation area while bidding farewell to Serengeti National Park
Day 5: Ngorongoro crater - Arusha
On the last day of your safari, you will have an early start. Finishing up with a quick breakfast you will make an early descent at around 6:30 AM into the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq km with a depth of over 2000 feet. The 5-hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is recommended. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs, and Lions are found in plenty. Post the picnic lunch at the beautiful Hippo pool, you will begin a steep ascend to the top exit of the crater. This is the last leg of your safari, with a 4-hour drive left to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your preferred location in Arusha by 6:00 PM. With an incredible experience and loads of memories to cherish, this is the time you bid goodbye to your team.
