Day 1 of 3-day Serengeti Safari: A Drive to Serengeti national park
As the morning sun rises, your journey to Serengeti National Park commences with a scenic drive from Arusha. En route, you will traverse the Masai Steppe, and ascend the Rift Valley Escarpment, before arriving at the main gate of Ngorongoro Conservation which is 190 km from Arusha. Here, you will take a brief stop to stretch your legs and take in the beauty of your surroundings, you will make your way to the Crater Viewpoint, where you will be greeted with stunning views over the Crater floor. This is the perfect opportunity to snap some photos and take in the breathtaking scenery.
As you make your way through the conservation area, you'll eventually arrive at the Serengeti via the Naabi Hill Gate which is 254 km from Arusha city. The Serengeti National Park is renowned for its stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife, and entering through this gate will offer you a memorable first impression of this incredible destination.
You will have lunch at Naabi Hill gate and finish necessary check-in procedures then head into the afternoon game drive, you will spot amazing creatures roaming the endless plains of Serengeti National Park.
